Guy Kabombo Muadiamvita was born on November 15, 1972, and he has emerged as a prominent figure in the military landscape of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). His career spans decades of dedicated service and leadership within the Armed Forces of the DRC (FARDC).

Having joined the military in the early 1990s, Kabombo Muadiamvita quickly rose through the ranks due to his exceptional leadership and strategic acumen. He held various command positions, starting from battalion level to brigade and division commander. His tenure in these roles was marked by his commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and readiness, crucial during times of conflict and stability operations within the DRC.

In June 2024, Guy Kabombo Muadiamvita was appointed as the Minister of Defense of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, a testament to his experience and capability in military affairs.
